BBUCHI Recap
What is BBU? Black Bloggers United is a national organization that celebrates black and brown content creators, promotes their work and supports sisterhood. With 13 Chapters nationwide, Chicago re-launched with two new Regional Directors, Danielle Saunders and myself.
We hosted our very first Meet & Greet event at Renaissance Bronzeville and connected with #BBUCHI members old and new. Over 90 content creators showed up in all black attire supporting the upcoming Black Panther film releasing in theaters February 15th. We partnered with Marvel Studios' marketing team who sponsored VIP advance screening tickets to a select number of members.

The event was a hit thanks to our photographer Anthony Roberson, our volunteers, lovely guests, the gracious staff of Renaissance and of course my co-Regional Director Danielle. "I'm so excited!" is like legit THE blogger or vlogger cliché statement, but I'm really excited for what's happening amongst Chicago creatives and everyone else involved seems to share that sentiment. Chicago has a bad rep from things outside our control, but more greatness lives here and its our turn to celebrate that. If you know a Chicago blogger who may be interested in becoming a Black Bloggers United member, have them click HERE to learn more and sign up. Did I mention membership is free?
Special thanks to my sister friends who came through in the clutch. L.O.V.E.
