Life Lessons. Turned Blessings.

Life Lessons. Turned Blessings.

Hey y'all. How y'all doing? Some of ya'll may be thinking, what's up with Chrishelle and this "y'all?" business? 😂

Well, I do know proper English, y'all. On social media and my blog, I am more or less informal. Moving forward, I may just address y'all as creatives.

So, hey y'all—I mean, hey creatives! My prayer is that you've been doing well, considering. I won't even go there. Y'all already know what I'm talking about. No matter what, God is still in control and I still trust him to turn this "thing" completely around. Who's with me?

On a brighter note, the novel I just wrote and released in stores today, "The Art of Being Ignored: Diaries of a Corporate Creative," is a pearls clutching, entertaining, motivational, relatable, easy read. With 15 chapters (each chapter in the book has it's own theme), and 113 pages are filled with real-life experiences around office politics shenanigans that we often deal with. Some are good. Others, not so good. Depending on who's reading I suppose.

Even if you're not an avid reader, I guarantee that you will enjoy this book.

Scarlett-Rose Tate is the main character in the novel. Her career cycle becomes stale, and she gets pretty tired of being in a state of discontentment. Searching for more than what her circumstances offer her, she overcomes the drama behind discrimination. This book, #TAOBI will take you on a journey that I'm sure will resonate with each one of you in some way or another.

The book is dedicated to those who have the courage to see their cup half full, instead of half empty.

Also, I invite you to join my Corporate Creatives Book Club. It's much more than just a book club though. We're a community that celebrates and supports people in their journey towards thriving in purpose. Whether you're trying to level up in your corporate career, or if you're currently a corporate employee aspiring towards PT/FT entrepreneurship, we got you.

Check out the Corporate Creatives Book Club page to learn more about free membership and benefits. With all the resources and plans I have lined up for the club, it will not be free for long.

So, get in the book club now while it's free. I should inform you that membership requires that you purchase my book, "The Art of Being Ignored: Diaries of a Corporate Creative" before you're eligible to access member benefits.

Hope you'll enjoy the book, and the upcoming February event for the Corporate Creatives Book Club.

If so, please feel free to leave a comment below. See you soon.
