Monochrome Trend
Pink is usually not the color I reach for. Oftentimes you can find me in variations of green. I consider it to be my vibe color - meaning it looks good on me regardless the shade. Browse my Instagram page and you'll see green represented all up and through there. Something about this pink suede and gold textured heeled bootie that convinced me to go against the grain. When my friend offered up her $20 store coupon I knew...$30 cute boots? Issa win.
Fashion was made to be fun. I played with two monochromatic color schemes here. Grey and Pink. Create a monochromatic look by choosing a single base hue and extend it to different shades, tones and tints. Boots, gloves and my lip color are members of the pink tribe. My hat, coat, jeans, handbag and nail color are variations of grey. They aren't the exact same color, but it still remains in the family. When you think of your loved ones, what color would you use to describe your family? Which shade, tone or tint do you best represent?
You don't have to be wealthy to dress fly. Every garment and accessory I'm rocking in this look was under $30. There is an art to shopping smart and I am here to help you get the look that compliments your style.
